Dr. Fava graduated summa cum laude from Boston College and Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. In 1978, he completed his medical internship at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. After completing his ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Fava opened his ophthalmologist specialist practice and eye treatment center in Lebanon, PA, in 1982. In addition to performing cataract eye surgery and cataract treatments with implants, Dr. Fava has specialized in refractive laser eye surgery since 1984. In 2005, Fava and Maria expanded the eye surgery center to a laser eye center that includes the AllegrettoWAVE Laser System to perform LASIK operations. Dr. Fava has treated hundreds of patients with laser surgery and is the first and only to bring a laser eye center to the Lebanon area.
